Dressed in their Lyco best, alumnae Ashley Concini , Summer (Beretsky) Bukeavich , Kate (Charnock) Little , Laura Smith , Laura Lockard ’05 , Erin Karschner ’05 , and Crystal (Anderson) Hofford met up virtually via Zoom to celebrate Ashley’s birthday during the COVID-19 pandemic. Ashley Concini and Kelly (Howerter) Janocka recently completed their goal of traveling to all seven continents with a trip to Antarctica in November 2019. The two, along with Kelly’s husband and two other friends, took a 14-day cruise that departed from Ushuaia, Argentina, crossed the Drake Passage, and made its first landing at Damouy Point on the continent. Ashley and Kelly met as freshmen in Skeath Hall and have traveled to five of the seven continents together after graduating from Lyco! Michele Connors received a master’s degree in professional and secondary education in May 2020. She works as an English teacher at Pleasant Valley High School in Brodheadsville, Pa. Michele has also been accepted into East Stroudsburg University’s doctoral program in educational leadership. Andrew Torgersen McElwee was born on March 17, 2019, in Lewistown, Pa., to David and Samantha McElwee . Amber Patton was interviewed by one of the largest ticketing associations in the world, Access: The Ticket to Industry Intelligence, which is powered by the International Ticketing Association (INTIX). In the interview, Patton talks about her family, relationships she has developed through entertainment ticketing, and how INTIX has helped change her life. The ticket and box office manager for the Pullo Center on Penn State York’s campus also shares thoughts on a variety of topics. Elizabeth joins big sister, Katherine (2). 08 Jessica and Joshua Barnhart welcomed a daughter, Ada Rose, in September 2019. She joins her two big sisters, Penelope (7) and Ariadne (3). 10 Holly Andrews was recently accepted as one of just 24 students into the prestigious Master of Fine Arts program in Film with a concentration in creative producing at Columbia University.
