Don Knight
(biology) and his wife,
Susan, recently celebrated their 50
th
wedding anniversary. Don retired in
1996 from Burroughs Wellcome Co.
(now part of GlaxoSmithKline) in
London, England, as vice president
and worldwide director of regulatory
affairs. After a few years of teaching
in the pharmacy schools at Campbell
University and the University of North
Carolina, Don and Susan have retired on
Hilton Head Island, S.C.

for the USA for the Dr Pepper/Snapple
Group Inc.

retirement celebration at the Damascus
(Md.) United Methodist Church in June.
Nearly 1,000 people participated in
the weekend, including more than 250
of Walt’s former choir and orchestra
members, who came back for a concert.

published two textbooks.

Therapies in Rehabilitation
, is in its third
edition. The book describes the science
of subtle energy and how it affects our
cells and bodies in important ways
that can reinforce wellness and prevent
illness. She continues to teach part time
for the University of Miami Department
of Physical Therapy, for John F. Barnes
Myofascial Release Seminars and for
Polestar Pilates.
