Amilcar Guzman ’08 was recently named a 40 Under 40 Latino Leader in Chicago. He was recognized for his leadership and professional achievements in the fields of philanthropy and public policy. 10s Jordan Hollander ’10 recently accepted an appointment as assistant director of the New Jersey Racing Commission within the New Jersey Attorney General’s Office, Department of Law and Public Safety. In this role, Jordan will be overseeing pari-mutuel horse race wagering for the State of New Jersey. Timothy Kocher ’14 is a staff physician for the Alaska Native Medical Center and Southcentral Foundation in Anchorage, Alaska. He completed medical school at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine before completing a residency in psychiatry and a fellowship in behavioral neurology and neuropsychiatry at The Ohio State University. Alyssa Young ’14 celebrated her five-year anniversary with Northside Hospital (Cherokee Campus). She works in outpatient radiology at their busiest outpatient center doing registrations (both same day and ahead of schedule), precertifications, scheduling, and creating estimates for services rendered. She is also the community ambassador for her department and coordinates various drives throughout the year including, but not limited to, adopting children for the holidays and providing meals for Thanksgiving. She is looking forward to continuing her career with Northside. In addition to professional development opportunities, she is fully vested in their pension plan. When not at work, she practices ballroom dancing with her instructors Reece Manterola and Kyra Platt in Marietta, Ga. She resides in Canton, Ga., with her partner, Nathan Long, and their orange tabby cat, Jules. Alyssa and Nathan also welcomed their newest niece, Bennett Brooke, on March 19, 2026. She joins Teagan (age 9) and Asher (age 6). Nate Tatro ’03 accepted a position with the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid’s Innovation Center in August 2024. Nate works on the Innovation in Behavioral Health Model and is leading efforts nationwide to increase access to mental health and substance use disorder care by modernizing Medicaid and Medicare providers’ health information technology infrastructure and transforming clinical practice workflows. He has worked in healthcare policy in D.C. for many years, previously having worked in leadership positions at the American Psychological Association, American Psychiatric Association, and Mental Health America. He also serves on Lycoming’s Alumni Association Executive Board. Since March 2022, Jason Zan ’07, an archaeology major, has been volunteering with humanitarian efforts inside Ukraine. In January 2024, he and his partner, Harriet Amy Campbell, created their own humanitarian nonprofit, Never Alone, with the primary goal of bringing hot, nutritious, homemade meals to frontline villages and refugee centers. They are preparing for their seventh trip to Ukraine in September 2026, where they will continue their food program, host their second-ever children’s summer camp, and continue providing aid and supporting resilience in communities on the edge of war. This past summer, Never Alone provided 3,115 meals and was able to relocate 15 children aged 13 to 18 from daily airstrikes to the peace and safety of the Carpathian Mountains, where for a little while they could just be kids and not worry about being targets. December 2024 and applied for citizenship as soon as she was eligible a year later in December 2025. She first came to the United Kingdom in 2014 following her graduation from Lycoming to pursue a master’s degree and then later a doctorate. She is incredibly proud to have reached this milestone through her own academic and professional achievements. Her partner, Carl, is from South Africa and achieved British citizenship in July 2024, and they are so excited to look forward to a future where they are both stable, secure, and have full citizenship rights in the U.K., their chosen home. She is also a dual U.S. citizen. Victoria Yuskaitis ’14 is officially a British citizen! Her citizenship ceremony was held on May 7, 2026. This is the culmination of over a decade of effort and many visa applications, including student, skilled worker, and global talent visas. Victoria was granted Indefinite Leave to Remain (ILR), which is long-term residency status, in Deidre Lupia ’15 married Kevin Moriarty on July 11, 2026. The couple is looking forward to a honeymoon exploring Yellowstone and Grand Teton National Parks. Deidre continues to own and operate her private counseling practice, Deidre LPC, LLC. Elise (Matalavage) Laws ’16 and her husband, Brian Laws, welcomed their daughter, Madelyn Grace Laws, on Sept. 18, 2025. Katie (Stepnowski) ’17 and Ben Conrad ’19 traveled to Mauritius in April 2026 to visit good friends whom they met at Lycoming. They were able to see Vish Ram ’22 and Ansharah Saib ’21, meet their families, and swim in the crystal-clear waters of the Indian Ocean. The culture and history of Mauritius is rich and complex.
