69 Robert Anderson was elected Commonwealth Attorney for Loudoun County in the most recent election cycle, a race that received national attention. Bob was a wrestler at Lycoming. Bob recently appointed Frank Frio ’84 as Deputy Commonwealth Attorney. Frank spent two seasons on the Lycoming football team. Neither knew of the other before the appointment, but both are serving the citizens of Virginia as attorneys, and both got their start as student athletes at Lycoming. It is a small world! Lycoming team sports for most participants is about a shared experience, and the behavior and values that are part of that shared experience do not end at graduation. Clearly, there is a team spirit in Loudoun County, Va., in the Commonwealth Attorney’s office. Bob and Frank are making a difference by sharing their values with their community. 74 At the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) commencement on May 24, 2024, Joseph Kaczmarczyk, DO, MPH, MBA, received the title of professor emeritus to honor his years of dedicated service to PCOM and to recognize his exception career. Their first two, “Birds of Paradise” and “Molly Finds Her Purr,” received praise and accolades. Easty Lambert-Brown, who owns Borgo Publishing, is the publisher for all of Pam and Shelley’s children’s books. For this third book, “Petey Wants Wings,” Pam co-authored with her 11-year-old grandson. Together, they wrote a fun tale about a squirrel who gives up his tail to sprout wings thanks to a fairy dragonfly. Petey thinks he wants to be like his bird friends, but through magic, mayhem, and some mischief, Petey discovers the value of being himself. The book is available for purchase at www.borgopublishing or Amazon.com.
