68 Angela (McElwain) Bednarczyk recently reunited with former suitemates Sue (Fielding) Roese and Paula (Menza) Young (with spouse Dale Young). They met near Jim (L to R) Dale, Sue, Angela, and Paula Thorpe, Pa., and had a wonderful fall weekend together, catching up and remembering fun times at Lycoming. They were also in touch with Dick Hedden, another of their group, and missing Mary (Swanson) Hedden, their fourth suite mate. Lycoming College friendships are the best! 79 Steve Klotz was recently named coordinator of Dementia Friendly Lancaster County. Klotz previously worked as a chaplain and then a staff trainer in a regional retirement system. He brings many years of experience in serving people with dementia through Validation, a method for dementia communication and relationship building. Klotz is one of three certified validation master teachers in the United States. Based in New Holland, Dementia Friendly Lancaster is a nonprofit organization with a steering and volunteer committee that includes community members, organizations, business, and faith-based leaders, as well as those who have been touched by dementia. Dementia Friendly Lancaster strives to offer support, education, and resources to people living with dementia and their care partners within the local community. Brobson succeeded Judge Mary Hannah Leavitt as president judge of the Pennsylvania Commonwealth Court in January of last year.
