67 A group of alumnae from the class of 1967 met for a mini reunion in Mt. Joy, Pa., on Oct. 18, 2019. They look forward to seeing many 1970 alumni in May 2020! 74 Karl Botdorf completed the Appalachian Trail, a 2,190-mile journey on foot from Mt. Springer, Ga., to Mt. Katahdin, Maine. (front row) Dave Schoch ’73, Peter Bruguiere ’69, Jim Chilton ’69, Doug Farrell ’71, Joe Montesano ’73, Wayne Morse ’71; (back row) Randy Jones ’71, Randy Loeliger ’71, Jay Tray ’69, Gary Spies ’72, Doug Stover ’72, Dave Reed ’71, and Bob Walker ’69 63 Carol (Harris) Waltz has retired from the position of organist at Messiah Lutheran Church, South Williamsport, Pa., after 19 years there and over 55 years as a church musician, after briefly teaching high school math. 65 Retired Plymouth Whitemarsh High School wrestling coach, Bob Lorence , was inducted into the Montgom- ery County Coaches Hall of Fame during the organization’s 17th annual induction ceremony on Nov. 20, 2018. Bob’s first head coaching position began in 1970 at Springfield (Montgomery County, Pa.) and continued at Plymouth Whitemarsh in 1975. After 33 years as a head coach, his teams won 357 matches, 10 Suburban One league titles, and 23 holiday and post-season tournaments. He was named Suburban One Coach of the Year 10 times and Area Coach of the Year 14 times. He produced 33 all state wrestlers and two PIAA state champions. He also was inducted into the Southeastern Pennsylvania Wrestling Hall of Fame and the Pennsylvania State Wrestling Hall of Fame. 39 www.lycoming.edu
