2018 FALL LC MAGAZINE
C L A S S NOT E S 67 Walt Kinsey took a moment to pose with his band and Swoop, the Eagles mascot. Walt has enjoyed playing a lot of music and doing art since his retirement. 68 Anna Payne writes: We were all “Townies” relegated to the basement of Rich Hall where we quickly bonded, surrounded by old leftover metal lockers and mismatched furniture. Sally transferred to another college in 1965 to be closer to her husband-to-be. We always remained in touch while Anna, Janel, and Suzanne carried on at Lycoming — and carried on we did, graduating in 1968. Somewhere around 1996, Janel reunited us at the Bastian Family Cabin in Liberty, Pa., and the Hot Lyco Babes were born! We have gathered together at least once a year ever since at different locations. The Peter Herdic House is our favorite gathering spot when in Williamsport. We have enjoyed trips to Canada, Hershey, Longwood Gardens, Delaware, and kayaking on the Brandywine River. We have made wonderful memories every year! 74 Dr. Joseph Kaczmarczyk was promoted to associate dean of undergraduate medical education at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine (PCOM) and has responsibility for all four years of medical school at PCOM. In May 2018, he earned his MBA from St. Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. In addition, he was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma, the international business honor society, and received the Executive MBA in Healthcare Academic Achievement Award. 78 James Tkach with alumni, coaches, and friends attended the annual Bo Tkach Memorial Golf Tournament on May 9, 2018. 80 From Lynne (Tomkinson) Bishop : Hello Class of 1980! Where does the time go? I hope you and yours are well and enjoying life. Recently retired, my husband and I are having a blast volunteering for the U.S. Forest Service and National Parks. Happy Trails! Our daughter joined me roving trails at Canyonlands National Park, Utah, this past autumn.
