60s Margaret “Peggy” Furst ’63 shares that she is living life to the fullest. At 85 years young, she doesn’t let anything stand in her way of adventure and says that embracing new experiences can spark confidence, resilience, and joy, even if it feels a little scary. “Whether it’s finding a new love or ziplining in Mexico, I find my life enriched by stepping beyond my comfort level. And what a high — literally! — when it all comes together.” Peggy has been a volunteer for Faith in Action of Solano County for 11 years and is the agency’s coach for its “Aging and Resiliency” program, having taught five classes so far. She was featured in a newsletter for the UC San Diego Stein Institute for Research on Aging & Center for Healthy Aging which showcased her ziplining adventure in Mexico. Carol (Harris) Waltz ’63 was the organist for Lycoming College’s Baccalaureate on May 8, 2026. She played the same recessional piece that was played at her Class of 1963 Baccalaureate in Old Pine Street Church. Robert Lorence ’65 was inducted into the Pennsylvania Chapter of the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in April 2026, honoring more than four decades of service to the sport. A standout wrestler at Norwin High School, he competed as a four-year varsity wrestler at Lycoming College from 1961 to 1965, helping assists the court with attorney licensing and discipline, with a mission to protect the public, uphold integrity in the legal profession, and safeguard the courts’ reputation. The board is comprised of 10 attorneys and two non-attorneys from across the Commonwealth who serve as unpaid volunteers and meet regularly to decide cases and administrative matters. Nancy brings extensive experience in legal leadership, having served as the immediate past president of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the Lehigh County Bar Association. Nancy is a partner in the commercial litigation department at White and Williams LLP where she is the chair of the higher education practice group, focusing in the areas of employment law and litigation where she represents businesses, educational institutions, and non-profit organizations in all aspects of workplace disputes. After graduation, Lorence built a successful coaching career in southeastern Pennsylvania and founded programs that developed generations of young wrestlers. He also shaped postseason tournament practices, served in wrestling leadership roles, and spent 15 years as a PIAA official. Louise Glicker Shin ’66 and Bill Shin celebrated their Golden 50th Anniversary on Sept. 20, 2025, with their three sons, Andrew, Michael, and Brian and their families. They thoroughly enjoy their six grandchildren, and it is always fun when they all get together. Louise has been retired since 2016 and enjoys travelling and her photography hobby. She and Bill have taken some fun trips over the years — 38 days in Europe, three weeks in Hawaii, and many Caribbean islands. 70s Nancy Conrad, Esq. ’76, began her six-year appointment as a member of The Disciplinary Board of the Supreme Court of Pennsylvania on April 1, 2026. The board oversees attorney conduct and ensures compliance with the Pennsylvania Rules of Professional Conduct.
