Alumni and guests returned to campus this spring for another memorable Alumni & Reunion Weekend held May 29-31, 2026, a celebration filled with connection, learning, and fun. With beautiful weather throughout the weekend, attendees enjoyed a relaxed atmosphere while reconnecting with classmates and taking part in a variety of activities. Signature events included the All-Alumni Welcome Party with a special appearance by Lycos the wolf and the always-popular Bash on the Quad with a karaoke finale. Celebrations were held for class reunions, including the 50th for the Class of 1976. New this year was a murder mystery lunch where guests embraced the ’80s Prom theme with creative costumes and plenty of enthusiasm. Alumni also had the chance to return to the classroom through engaging presentations by longtime faculty, including a lecture on economic strategy and game theory given by Phil Sprunger, Ph.D., and the popular “Diggin’ Jesus” talk by Steve Johnson, Ph.D. Attendees also enjoyed a Sam Adams/Dogfish Head beer and food pairing led by Zack Farr ’07 of Boston Beer Company, Sam Adams Pennsylvania. The College’s Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2026 was inducted at the 40th annual ceremony. Congratulations to the honorees Trevor Corl ’20, wrestling; Meghenn Jackson ’17, women’s lacrosse/soccer; Callan Jordan ’19, men’s swimming; Erica Lutz ’21, women’s basketball; Jeff Mahalik ’92, football; Michael Tenant ’19, men’s lacrosse; and Tanner Troutman ’15, football. The Alumni Association Executive Board held their annual spring meeting during the weekend, which included an excursion to Rider Park in Trout Run, Pa., where members had the opportunity to relax in the scenic surroundings or hike along the trails. They were transported in style in one of two new vans from Lycoming College’s Outdoor Leadership & Education (OLE) program, made possible by support from New Trail Brewing Company located in Williamsport.
