This fall marks an exciting chapter in the continued evolution of our academic offerings. We are introducing four new programs — environmental science, environmental studies, exercise science, and sport management — that reflect existing strengths in our academic program while also addressing student interests and emerging workforce needs. Designed with real-world application in mind, these programs combine hands-on learning, interdisciplinary coursework, and close faculty mentorship to prepare students for meaningful careers in rapidly changing fields. These programs remain grounded in Lycoming’s liberal arts and sciences curriculum which ensures every student has both breadth and depth of learning. With these additions, Lycoming now offers 67 majors and 69 minors, providing students with even more pathways to pursue their passions and achieve their goals. every opportunity to learn, grow, and engage fully in the vibrant life of our campus community. s we begin a new academic year, I am delighted to welcome both our returning students and the incoming Class of 2030 to campus.
