Despite steady rain, graduates embraced the time-honored tradition of processing through the Oliver Sterling Metzler Gate and across the Fultz Quadrangle, albeit huddled beneath umbrellas, before joining family and friends in Lamade Gymnasium. John Piper Jr., Ph.D. ’07H, emeritus professor of history and dean of the College, gave the invocation, and D.
