2025 Lycoming Fall Magazine

In the Spring 2025 issue of Lycoming College Magazine, page 41, we neglected to share that it was the combined generosity of many friends and family members of Andy Deufel Rogers ’81 that brought to fruition the Andy Deufel Rogers ’81 Memorial Endowed Scholarship Fund. A bench dedication was held in her memory on April 27, 2024, where they gathered to remember Andy and celebrate the beautiful life she led (pictured here). Thank you to all who made this fund possible. Beg Your Pardon Jess Snover ’17 was recognized by the New Jersey Association of College Admissions Counseling (NJACAC) as the Admissions Representative of the Year for the 2024-25 academic year. This award highlights her work at Lycoming College as the director of admissions recruitment and was also a result of her recent election to the NJACAC executive committee and appointment to the NEXT Leadership program with the National Association for College Admissions. Alexa (Bowman) ’17 and Jeffrey Weiss ’17 were married May 17, 2025. They met during their freshman year in Dr. Richmond’s Intro to Criminal Justice class! They went on a field trip to the prison next to Wegmans and have been inseparable ever since. Jeff played football, and Alexa played soccer and became a member of GDS. They could not be more grateful for those organizations still to this day, and they are so thankful to form life-long friendships because of their time at Lycoming. Camisha Taylor ’18 has published ten photography books, which can be found on both Amazon.com and Barnes & Noble by typing in her name, Camisha Taylor. Her books include “Through Their Eyes,” “Inner Demons,” “The Things We Take for Granted,” “Our Loyal Companions,” “The Sea is Beautiful,” “Human Emotions,” “Traveling Tanjiro,” “Traveling Zenitsu,” “Vintage 36,” and “Creatures of Halloween.” Inspiration for her photography books sometimes comes to her in a dream, or the ideas just flow to her while working or on long rides to faraway places. Camisha’s photography has also appeared in 6X Magazine, Appointment Magazine, Perfect Pets Magazine, and Off Town Magazine. Additionally, Camisha started an internship and is currently working on a kids’ cartoon called Holepunch, the Maker. It’s an independent animation in development. She designed the backgrounds and helped with the theme song for the cartoon. Holepunch is about an anthropomorphic cat named Holepunch who wants to make hip-hop beats, but he comes from a family of dysfunctional ghost hunters and has a best friend named Ledarius, who is actually a ghost. The town he lives in is called Socialhoodia, and everyone in town, including his own family, loves to chase clout. They only care about likes and views, so they don’t understand who Holepunch is at all. You can find the project on Kickstarter.com called Holepunch, the Maker. 20s After four years of employment with Old Dominion Freight Line, John Harshbarger ’20 was recently promoted to the role of regional manager - safety.
