She joins big brother, Carter. On Dec. 9, 2023, Maggie presented the keynote address at the Lycoming County The National Society Daughters of the American Revolution’s annual holiday celebration at Park Place in Williamsport. Hoffer’s address, “For the Defense of Themselves and Neighbours,” was based on her historical methods research at Lycoming College and focused on the patriot mobilization along the Susquehanna River during the Revolutionary War. Emmy award winner Casey Martindale is fulfilling her dream in the video editing world as an editor at Monumental Sports and Entertainment, America’s leading sport and entertainment family, located in Washington, D.C. Two of her proudest moments professionally were working with the Washington Capitals during their 2018 Stanley Cup Championship run and most recently winning her second Emmy award as an editor for Sports Short Story, #Ovi800. Invited by Lycoming College’s Humanities Research Center, Casey returned to campus on Sept. 29, 2023, to speak with current students about her career trajectory and her work in film and editing. Casey credits her time at Lycoming for providing her with the knowledge and skills needed to pursue her passion in a rewarding and successful career, and she was glad to share her experiences with the campus community. 20 Harshil Moykoo came to Lycoming College from his home country of Mauritius, East Africa, to pursue his degree in managerial economics and applied mathematics and business administration. Today, he is living in Luxembourg, Europe, as a senior advisor in the Governance, Risk, and Regulatory in Advisory department at KPMG Luxembourg, where he plays a critical role in ensuring that various organizations such as renowned banks, management companies, and listed stock companies operate within established guidelines, manage risks effectively, and comply with applicable laws and regulations. 22 In February 2024, Alexander Laubscher moved to Erie, Pa., to begin his professional career as a game producer for Whitethorn Games, an independent game studio and publisher of critically acclaimed games such as Lake and Calico. He works as an internal game producer, rather than on their publishing side, helping the internal development team and company with their first internal game. 33 www.lycoming.edu
