Sue’s Lycoming education prepared her well to begin her career as an elementary school teacher, but she left her beloved profession to raise her family. Years later, she reentered the workforce, for several years as a successful real estate agent. In 1997, she joined Lycoming as director of alumni and parent programs. She established the “Pave the Way” alumni brick program, a lasting legacy to her time at Lycoming. She proudly served in this role until her retirement in 2003 and was awarded the Dale V. Bower Service Award for her exceptional lifetime of service to her alma mater. Sue touched the lives of many fellow Warriors, and she will be greatly missed. Sue is survived by her husband of 58 years, Jay McCormick ’59, and their two sons, Michael and Patrick. Memorial contributions may be made in her name to the Jay H. ’59 and Ann Sue Bingaman ’60 McCormick Endowed Scholarship at Lycoming College. 43 www.lycoming.edu
