17 Maggie (Slawson) and Curtis Hoffer ’14, welcomed a son, Carter Alexander, on April 29, 2021. Carter weighed 8 lbs. 11 oz. and measured 22”. 18 Elizabeth (Ritter) and Dominic Lyons ’19 were married on Saturday, July 17, 2021, in a cozy ceremony at McCarthy’s Red Stag Pub in Bethlehem, Pa. 19 On Oct. 24, 2020, Stevanakelly (Dolence) and Evan Bennetch ’17 were married in Lost Dutchman State Park, Ariz. It was a small and intimate wedding with Conor Chopey ’17 and Lindsay Smith ’18 as best man and maid of honor. “We’re thankful that God led us to marriage and blessed us with a beautiful wedding, with family and friends attending, in the midst of a pandemic,” the couple shared. Stevanakelly was recently accepted in her dream masters program in Cyprus and will be pursuing a Master of Science in digital cultural heritage at The Cyprus Institute in Nicosia, Cyprus. She received a partial scholarship for her academic excellence. In 2018, Lycoming’s study abroad semester to Cyprus titled “The Afterlife of Artifacts,” led by Dr. Gaber, sparked her passion for Cypriot archaeology and culture. She is happy to be continuing on a path that Lycoming started her on. Little League® International recently added a new member to its headquarters staff in South Williamsport, Pa., with the hiring of Rachel Duda as its financial systems analyst. Under the direction of the senior director of information services, Rachel Kaitlyn (Gulotta) and Tyler O’Connell were married May 2, 2021 at Springfield Manor Winery in Thurmont, Md. Mitch Shirk was the officiant. Tyler played football and Kaitlyn played soccer at Lycoming. The two had all the same friends, but they never crossed paths until their senior year. Jauzzle France earned her Master of Fine Arts in photography and related media from SUNY New Paltz in June 2021. Her MFA thesis project entitled “A Jumbie Journey” embraces photography, digital collage, and fabric, and included a children’s book, “Are you seeing Jumbie,” with an accompanying quilt. 44 LYCOMING COLLEGE 2021 PRESIDENT’S REPORT/FALL MAGAZINE
