The couple married on Aug. 3, 2019, at St. Dorothy’s Church in Drexel Hill, Pa. A reception was held in Philadelphia. Carmen Niemeyer recently graduated with two master’s degrees from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. One is in Information and Library Studies, and the other is in History of Science, Medicine, and Technology. Olivia (Hanner) and Justin Walker welcomed a daughter, Emerson Rose, on Feb. 2, 2019. Emerson weighed 6 lbs. 5 oz. She joins her big sister, Charlotte (2). Nazzaro ’17 , James Truax ’17 , and Sean Bathgate ’17 . The couple spent their honeymoon in Ontario, Canada. 18 Zachary High has been awarded a fellowship worth $8,500 by The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi, the nation’s oldest and most selective collegiate honor society for all academic disciplines. He is one of 58 recipients nationwide to receive a Phi Kappa Phi fellowship. As a fellow, Zachary 16 Courtney (Hayden) and Christopher Cizek ’17 were married on Oct. 12, 2019, at Clearstory in the Pajama Factory, Williamsport, by The Rev. Mary Woods. Courtney is employed at the Williamsport Sun-Gazette as the lifestyle and education editor. Christopher is currently em- ployed at Fresh Roasted Coffee LLC in Sunbury as its content creator. Alumni in attendance included Bridget Norris ’15 (maid of honor), bridesmaids Jordyn Hotchkiss ’16 and Lauren DelGaizo ’16 , Robert Hoffman ’17 (best man), and groomsmen Lin will pursue a Doctor of Medicine at Penn State College of Medicine. The selection process for a fellowship is based on the applicant’s evidence of graduate potential, undergraduate academic achievement, service and leadership experience, letters of recommendation, personal statement of education- al perspective and career goals, and acceptance in an approved graduate or professional program.
