2019 LYCOMING COLLEGE LC MAGAZINE SPRING

Lycoming College is pleased to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Mary L. Welch Theatre, formerly known as the Arena Theatre, during the 2018-19 academic season. Over the past five decades, more than 365 productions have been performed on the stage, from classics such as William Shakespeare's “The Taming of the Shrew” and Oscar Wilde’s “The Importance of Being Earnest” to contemporary plays and musicals including “Urinetown” (pictured) by Mark Hollmann and Gregg Kotis, and most recently, “Blacktop Sky” by Christina Anderson. The celebratory season will conclude with Molière’s “The School for Wives” on April 10-13, 2019.
