where he guides the company’s aggressive growth strategy. To say Anthony is invested in Reynolds’ success is an understatement: he joined Reynolds in 1999 as a staff accountant, founded Reynolds Restoration Services in 2005, purchased Reynolds as a partner in 2012, and most recently partnered with Oaktree Capital Management to make Reynolds a stronger company with more opportunity for growth. Throughout his 20-year career with Reynolds, the number of employees has nearly tripled, office locations have multiplied from one to four, and revenue has quadrupled. Outside of the office, Anthony is active in the community as a board member at the Vista School and the Capital Region Economic Development Corporation, was president of the Bridges Society of the United Way of the Capital Region, and has been a member of the Harrisburg Rotary Club since 2010. 01 Geoff Smith joined the Pennsylvania Fish and Boat Commission in 2008 as the Susquehanna River biologist. The bulk of his career has been spent working on large river systems in the eastern U.S. His current activities include monitoring game fish and invasive species populations in the Susquehanna River and its tributaries, as well as coordinating research efforts focused on disease of Smallmouth Bass. In July 2018, Geoff was the guest speaker for the Susquehanna River Heartland Coalition for Environmental Studies held in Mary Lindsay Welch Honors Hall on the Lycoming College campus. 02 Lycoming alumni gathered to celebrate Joey Feerrar and the grand opening of his new brewery, Bald Birds Brewing (www.baldbirdsbrewing.com) , in Audubon, Pa., in September 2018. 04 Jennifer (Eaton) Gleim accepted a position as museum curator at the Pennsylvania Military Museum in Boalsburg, Pa., on July 1, 2018. Jennifer earned her Master of Arts in American Studies from Penn State University in 2011 and has been working in the museum field since 2014. Chan Ung graduated with honors from Widener University’s Master of Science in Nursing Program in Family Nurse Practitioner. 06 Alexis Bortle recently accepted a promotion to membership coordinator at the Roper Center for Public Opinion Research at Cornell University (of which Lycoming College is a member organization). The Roper Center is one of the world’s leading archives of social science data, 10 In May 2018, Phi Kappa Psi fraternity received the prestigious Laurel Wreath Award from the North-American Interfraternity Conference for specializing in data from public opinion surveys. Worldwide, there are more than 280 institutional members whose faculty, staff, and students are accessing datasets from hundreds of survey organizations from across the U.S. and around the globe. 07 Melinda “Mindy” (Dreisbach) Roberts graduated in May with a master's degree in Library and Information Services and started in the full-time position as youth services librarian at Rachel Kohl Library in Glen Mills, Pa. Rozalyn (Costantino) Burke was promoted to executive director of Wayne County Children and Youth Services in Honesdale, Pa., in March 2018. Celeste (Purosky) Straub released her debut novel, “Leather and Lies” on Oct. 3, 2018. It is a romantic suspense thriller set in Wilkes-Barre, Pa., written from the point of view of a criminal profiler searching for her missing cousin. Celeste, a sociology major, drew heavily upon her work experience in the social work field while penning the novel. It was published by 5 Prince Publishing and is available in e-book and paperback through Amazon. com, Barnes and Noble, and most major e-book platforms. Kyle Hickman was instrumental in putting this program together that prepares undergraduate fraternity members for professional life. Laurel Wreath Awards are given to individuals or groups in recognition of their unique programs, community outreach, or influence within the fraternal world. This is the second year that Phi Kappa Psi fraternity’s programming has been recognized with this prestigious award. The 2019 PDC will be hosted in Dallas, Texas, Oct. 25-28. Interested undergraduate members may apply to attend by visiting the Phi Kappa Psi website. Phi Kappa Psi fraternity is a 501(c)(7) association of men of integrity who strive to develop the individual in his intellect, involvement in the community and faith. The fraternity was founded Feb. 19, 1852, at Jefferson College by William Henry Letterman and Charles Page Thomas Moore. The fraternity currently has more than 100 chapters across the U.S., over 6,500 undergraduate members, and more than 80,000 living alumni. 12 Little League ® International announced the promotion of Samantha (McConnell) Mahaffey to Little League security manager, effective July 1, 2018. With her new position, Samantha, who formerly served as liability and crime coordinator since January 2014, took over security operations for Jim Ferguson, who retired from Little League following the 2018 Little League Baseball ® World Series.
