Bilger, director of human resources and risk management from 2004 until her passing, cared deeply for her colleagues and during her tenure did much to modernize and enhance our human resources division. She was a champion for the ways in which we recognize and acknowledge the good work people do for the College and was the primary voice in creating our Staff Appreciation Day. She will be deeply missed by our community, but her many contributions will be evident for years to come. Michael D. Jenkins was employed as plumbing supervisor until his retirement in 2013 after 36 dedicated years of service. Harold “Hal” H. Shreckengast Jr. ’50 ’00H Shreckengast was a member of the Lycoming College board of trustees from 1972-1999 and was elected chair emeritus in 1999. He was a recipient of Lycoming’s Outstanding Alumnus Award in 1987 and the Accounting Society Outstanding Accounting Alumnus Award in 1994. In 2000, he was awarded an Honorary Degree Doctor of Laws from Lycoming. 47 www.lycoming.edu
