97 REGISTRATION INFORMATION Please submit the following information (see address on application): Completed College non-degree application https://gowarriors.lycoming.edu/register/non-degree Transcript(s) from former universities We will evaluate the post-baccalaureate candidate’s application material, review transcript(s) and a preliminary assessment of teaching competencies that may have been acquired previously. The Education Department will notify the candidate of the required courses by email. Candidates who will be taking 12 credits a semester are encouraged to file a FAFSA application to see if they qualify for financial aid. When completing the FAFSA, be sure to list Lycoming College. The Federal school code for Lycoming is 003293. Please contact the Education Office at 570-321-4010 or rogers@lycoming.edu with your intentions to pursue or not purse the program within 6 months. Before admittance to the program, all applicants will interview with the Director of Teacher Education and Field Place Coordinator. The Director of Teacher Education will assist in creating a schedule based on prior courses, certificates earned, and work experience. Once a deposit is paid, Admissions will ask ITS to create credentials. Admissions will notify student with their Lycoming credentials and copy post-bacc coordinator. The non-degree student must submit an Education Program form on the Registrar’s website, to declare an education program. Non-degree registration date can be found on the academic calendar. Candidates are required to complete the majority of their coursework at Lycoming College, as we are the institution recommending certification. You may, however, seek permission from the Education Department to take a course off campus. We will work closely with you to ensure that your schedule is tailored to meet your needs.
